In other news, my mother has chosen to visit Atlanta the weekend of the SXSW music festival. Good thing the other people in my group already have sleeping arrangements in Austin. :D

Aaaaaaaaaaaand still no word about my placement but we are having a property review tomorrow with a few people from corporate so maybe I'll hear good news? Yeah, probably not but a gal can dream. =_='

At your request BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY I have indeed twitter'd like every other moron on the web these days. So now all of my useless shit can/will go there. :D

In other news, I am now down to only 25 hours of vacation. IT SUCKS. I think after I'm promoted I will get a week's vacation at the 6 month mark, and then my anniversary is in November so I'll get... 4 weeks vacation? I'm not entirely sure how much vacay time is given at the 5 year mark for salaried managers. I'll have to find that out soon.

Seattle in April? Unlikely at this point. Right now I want to preserve those precious 3 days vacation time for when my niece is born sometime in April/May.
California before June? Definite since I've gotta make it out there someday, may as well do it while I can stay for free.
DC in summer? Who knows! I'd love to make it for the family's new tradition of an annual vacation but it's kind of hard to have a grasp of the financial situation when I've planned for two trips (Houston and Cali) that take precedence. We'll see.
Mexico for a week sometime this year? Yeeeeeeah I'm gonna have to get back to my dad on that. I know I promised but, well, I'm selfish so I put my desires first. >_> In all likelihood I will begin to plan this trip out only to be shot down by my dad because he's lazy and doesn't want to go anywhere. I guess I could force him if that's the case...

Point Clear, AL before the end of the year? Meh, likely. It's only a two night stay and the place looks nice enough. Why not. If I get placed somewhere semi-close and I do end up getting a car, I think it'll make for a nice little weekend getaway. We'll see.

I like going places so I think I'll add Vegas to the list for this year. I had a nice little idea for it while I was trying (and failing) to fall asleep last night. Oh, and Austin, too. I've got to do some shopping for my niece and the selection of vintage and indie items is impeccable there. :)

That and SXSW is coming up. :3

Okay so...

I am incredibly intoxicated at the moment due to low tolerance and vast quantities of alcohol. Being responsible does have its shortcomings but in the long run it is far more superior despite what a certain duo say (you know who you are you puto beans!). Now, because I love lists:

1. Yelp is still inferior
2. Dinela can lick my dirty butthole
3. I am not a snob despite popular belief but it is fun to maintain certain airs
4. I love alcohol
5. Comme Ca was SUPER expensive
